Updated business branding photos for a Sacramento leader

I was thrilled to partner with Amanda Blackwood, CEO of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce to update her suite of professional images. I worked with her and her team to determine the needs and use cases for the images, and from there, I put together a comprehensive shoot plan to make sure we were on the same page in terms of feel and vision. We shot at a variety of locations around the city to get a well rounded set of images she can use for all her needs. Our shoot had to be rescheduled several times due to the pandemic, but I’d say it was worth the wait! Here are a few examples of what we captured:

Fun headshots at Happy Road Farm!

Well hello, is this thing on? I’ve been wanting to highlight all of my previous sessions for a long time – and apparently it just takes a global pandemic to get me to start posting some of them. Without further ado, here is the first of many many sessions I’ll be sharing here!

This is such a super fun session to start off with. Last year, Lisa of Happy Road Farm was in need of some environmental headshots for her website launch and for an upcoming Instagram takeover.

Lisa has such a fun story – she followed her dreams, deciding to start a flower farm in her backyard. She traded in cubicle life for this beautiful “office!” Her passion and joy for what she is doing is infectious and I hope you can see it coming through these photos.

We talked by phone prior to the shoot and Lisa sent me some inspiration photos. I was so inspired to see her Loomis farm and make these ideas a reality! We had to be efficient with our time due to some scheduling challenges, and so we did these portraits in about a half an hour. We got so many fun shots in that short time and these are just a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

What do you think? Does Lisa’s story make you want to go after something you’ve only been dreaming about?  If you’d like headshots or a personal branding session for your business, drop me a line so we can chat!

MODELING HEADSHOT SESSION: OLIVIA

Olivia came to me for some headshots for her modeling portfolio. We met in downtown Sacramento early in the morning to avoid the predicted hot temperatures for the afternoon, but it was quite hot already. This young lady was a total pro though. Heat? An audience of brunchgoers watching us shoot? No problem. All in a day's work for her. I, on the other hand, was a sweaty mess. Another reason I stay behind the camera!

Olivia couldn't be a more lovely girl. I can't wait to see what's in store for her in the future!
